My Favorite Game

One of my favorite games is LIFE. The object of the game is to become the most successful person before you retire. Throughout the game, you can get a job, buy a house, and get married. You can even have kids in the game (though the people are just pieces of plastic that attach to the top of the van). There are many other things that can happen in life that can either make you rich or poor. You could get a flat tire or you can win a Nobel prize. The game of LIFE allows the player to live an quick, fun, and imaginary life, and he can become very rich by the time he retires.

What is Reality?

Reality involves things that people know about without uncertainty. Reality cannot be denied. It is about facts and not about beliefs. It is about the truth and not about lies. Usually, proof is needed in order for something to be accepted as reality. It is not about what people think happened or wanted to happen.. It is about what actually happened.

This is a coca-cola advertisement from 1943. Clearly, the advertisement shows a happy guy drinking a bottle of Coca-Cola. This advertisement uses the slogan "Tastes like home." This slogan was very effective, because many people believe in the phrase "There's no place like home."  The use of the slogan persuaded the audience to drinking Coca-Cola by connecting the beverage to the good feeling of being home.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Cody Houston. I am a freshman at Clemson University. I currently plan on majoring in Mechanical Engineering, but I could change my mind in the future. I currently do not have an idea of what I want to do after I graduate from Clemson. Some of my hobbies include playing video games and hanging out with friends. I am looking forward to spending my next four years here at Clemson.
